Waterfall Adventures
Western North Carolina is home to some of the most stunning waterfalls and swimming holes in the world. Our outpost sits right next to the Green River Gamelands - protecting some of the best kept secrets for waterfall adventures in WNC. We offer three different experiences, so let us design an adventure perfect for your family. All of our Waterfall Adventures include a light snack, with the option of a catered lunch available. Ask about combining your Waterfall Adventure with an afternoon Inflatable Kayak trip.
Big Bradley Waterfall Trek
Spend the morning or afternoon boulder-hopping and jumping off waterfalls into deep green swimming holes. Our guided Waterfall Trek starts at the breathtaking Big Bradley Falls - plunging over 100 ft into the pool below. Situated at the top of the Green River Gorge, Bradley Falls is a dramatic lead-in to lush vegetation, huge swimming holes, waterfall jumps, and is home to one of the largest salamanders in the world. This trek is sure to enhance your view of the Western North Carolina mountains. Your adventure starts with a moderate one mile hike into the gorge with the sound of the falls thundering in the distance. Once in the pool below the falls, it's an adventurous 3 hour trek - perfect for a high energy adventurous group.

Green River Gorge Adventure
The Green River Gorge Adventure starts on the gently rolling wide trails of the Green River Gamelands. Once you can hear the roar of the Green River in the distance, we drop off the train on the steep descent into the gorge - sheltering spectacular swimming holes and waterfalls. After swimming and exploring, enjoy a snack or full lunch at the rivers edge. As the release from the dam upstream reaches the gorge the tranquil swimming holes and trickling waterfalls transform into rushing class V rapids. These rapids attract world-class kayakers year round. Watch these daredevils "huck" themselves off of waterfalls and through cascading rapids before starting our climb out of the gorge. A true waterfall adventure!

Classic Swimming Hole Adventure
Perfect for the entire family, our Classic Swimming Hole Adventure visits easily accessible swimming holes surrounded by huge boulders and the lush vegetation of the Green River Gamelands. Separate yourself from the crowds, but don't wear yourself out doing it! This trip offers short hikes, fun jump-off rocks, rope swings, and great places to stop and take a dip.
